Temporary Stay. New forms of hospitality between architecture and landscape explores the evolving relationship between tourism, hospitality, architecture, and landscape, examining how new forms
of temporary dwelling can respond to the spatial, social, and environmental challenges generated by contemporary mobility and tourism.
Moving beyond the traditional understanding of hospitality as a sector exclusively linked to leisure travel, the book investigates its broader role as a catalyst for territorial regeneration, social interaction, and sustainable urban transformation. Bringing together theoretical essays and experimental design research developed within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme Temporary Stay, the contributions address topics ranging from landscape and architectural heritage representation to riverfront and inner territories regeneration.
Through an interdisciplinary perspective that combines architectural theory, urban studies, landscape design, and tourism research the book demonstrates how architecture and landscape can become instruments for imagining more inclusive, placesensitive, and resilient futures.
