The essay analyses the legislative decree no. 198/2021 on unfair trading practices in the agri-food supply chain. Starting from the European regulatory framework of the phenomenon, the Authors address the national legislative choices, with special attention at a balancing of values within the agri-food supply chain, related to the protection of workers in agriculture.
