The focus of this paper is on territorialization processes carried out after the Second World War by the State, and subsequently by Regions, in their capacity as promoters, drivers or regulators. Whatever the case, their establishment would imply layouts and settlement patterns explicitly or implicitly conveying an idea of "Form" interacting both with original morphologies and previous histories, and with prevailing beliefs and models for economic growth.
