This article deals with working conditions and non-discrimination of the staff who work in exchange for remuneration for caring for another person. This work is structured in two main sections: the realities faced by workers in the care sector in their working conditions, or in the suffering of discrimination, on the one hand; and the regulatory advances that are taking place in Spain to cover situations of lack of labour protection, that in some areas of work such as the family home sector were historically occurring, on the other hand.
