The author retraces some personal thoughts and clinical notations on an ongoing psycho-analytical treatment in which the development of the analytic process is strained by condensed and mixed plots of the patient’s personal life. The analytic process gradually makes more room for thirdness and for the construction of the patien’s true self througt more functioning identification with the work of the transference-countertransference configurations and by the pa-tient’s identification and disidentification processes and on the analysis of the relationship with its internal objects - especially the ones that obstacles the separation-individuation process preventing him to get in contact with deep sorrow and anguish.
