Although war has always been a part of civilization, it can be defined as a ec-centricity of evolution. In this work, it is argued that patriarchal value systems are those to which political power refers in order to be able to justify every possible form of violence and to be able to devise its strategies of social exclusion of the weakest subjects, such as the women, exclusion also from the "game" of war it-self. Despite the twenty years that have passed since UN Resolution 1325, much work remains to be done to affirm the role of women as agents of peace.

Keywords: war; sustainable peace; gender; social inclusion; values; marginali-zation.
