The aim of this work is to propose reflections on the evolution of teaching activity in relational psychotherapy training: from the use of techniques to self-work, from a standardized approach to the personalization of the training path, just as it happens in the therapeutic path. The article presents an experience, offered in the third year of the relation-al psychotherapy specialization program, in which the concept of tailoring is co-constructed, experimented and learned, starting from the vision of the film Salvatore Ferragamo: The shoemaker of dreams (2020) by Luca Guadagnino.

Keywords: tailoring relationships, training, therapist, relational psychotherapy, ericksonian approach.
