This contribution aims to outline the profiles and the respective theoretical, ethical, methodological and strategic skills aimed at promoting an integral development of personal and organizational performance, with particular reference to ideally motivated entities. First of all, it is considered appropriate, for epistemological and expository clarity, to specify and explain the meaning attributed to the concepts of freedom and development which act as a hermeneutical background to the proposed path. Secondly, we will try to orient this meaning towards the peculiarity offered by the socio-economic function of not for profit organizations, also in light of the literature that is solidly consolidating on this topic. The last step will lead to the elaboration of some methodological proposals - primarily ethical and organizational - dedicated to decision-making and evaluation processes, considered more critical and at the same time more suitable to favor, coherently and effectively, that development of people and performances, including organizational ones, outlined with the theoretical-interpretative framework outlined in sequence.
