This contribution examines the role of logistics as a driver of spatial and socio-economic transformation, highlighting the importance of integrated approaches in spatial planning. In light of the sector’s global expansion, it emphasizes the need to manage its development at the regional and territorial levels. The study uses a methodology that combines institutional analysis with active participation, specifically, through the formulation of an integrative framework for Bergamo’s ptcp (Provincial territorial coordination plan). Focusing on the BreBeMi motorway corridor, it argues that effective policies must be grounded in robust socio-economic and territorial scenarios and supported by guidelines that promote the integration of logistics hubs with existing settlement and production systems.
