The most frequent ENT pathologies in the disabled person are the earwax plugging and the ear infections of the outer ear, while the inner ear is mainly affected by the catarrhal otitis. The nose suffers from rhinitis and rhino-acute, while chronic sinusitis and stenosis of airways comes from nasal polyposis or septal deviations. Oral-pharyngeal area is affected by tonsil inflammatory processes or swallowing disorders, mostly of neurogenic nature. In all these clinical pictures the main difficulty is mostly represented by the non-cooperation of patients, during the clinical diagnostics and instrumental one and during the therapy (taking drugs and local medication).
