The essay examines the French law of March 2017 on the duty of supervision of multinational companies, through the lens of the main actors involved in the implementation process. The main thesis focuses on the "managerialization£ of the law carried out by professionals of su-pervision, internal and external to multinational companies, which risks influencing the way jurisprudence will interpret the substance of the supervisory obligations established by the same law.

Keywords: Global value chains; Multinational companies; Supervisory obligations.
