The author describes a training experience in teacher initial education come from school internship in Science of Education course at University of Udin. Starting from the Learning Stories model, and under the lockdown pressure, the students experimented an original design within their professional training course, faced two aspects simultaneously: the redesign of the padlet digital tool which, in addition to ensure educational school continuity, has represented an original device for observation and documentation of self- learning processes (self- learning stories). The opportunities gave to the student in terms of analysis, meaning understanding and meta-cognitive rethinking lead to outline the development of reflective skills on processes, their quality and the methods that support them. This raised important implications on teacher training policies, and recall the focus of the capacity/freedom to choose the directions to be taken in order to give the better shape to the personal agency and qualify one's self- training processes in a capability frame.
