The paper shows how important in enterprises is to coordinate plans and actions to manage safety issues to give rise to a sound safety organizational culture. Specific attention is payed to how coordination processes are to be managed in four critical areas of organizational functioning: strategic thinking elaboration area; (intra and inter)organizational communication area; organizational behaviour area; interindividual, group and organizational relationships area. Principal aim of the paper is to show how working for safety in these areas could provide economic, organizational and relational values useful to sustain production and enterprise’s functioning
