The author describes the main etiological causes and theories on the pathophysiology of autism spectrum disorder (ASD); he, also, describes the contents of the project: "The Garden of Colors", based on the principles of the: "Garden Therapy" integrated with neurosensory therapies, dedicated to children with ASD, living in Scampìa neighborhood (Naples), organized in the garden of NPI district "M.
