The article considers the training experience addressed to case managers in-volved in the Minimum Income policy and carried out by the University of Pado-va, within which 914 project works have been realised. The analysis of the ones focused on fighting educational poverty and on children’s needs reveals the pre-ventive potential of this measure and the relevance of stable and innovative community responses to these needs.
