In this article, we want to present a new clinical multifamily therapy approach that we have setup in our day hospital for young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This approach involves gathering together several families with the common intention to further engage parents into their child’s care. Five sessions are put in place, spread over about a month, with the objective of helping families break out of their isolation and regain a sense of competence.

Keywords: parent/child care, clinical programs, vulnerable parenting, stigmatization processes, assistance.
