The Authors discuss the manifold models of intervention within health psychology and outline a theoretical-operational scenario for Peer Education, an elective strategy of intervention in the field of adolescence which focuses on the assumption that young people themselves are a resource for their growth and not a problem or a source of discomfort. Close attention is paid to the theme of risk behaviours, described as attempts to tackle different developmental tasks. A model program is provided with reference to contrasting bullying and promoting pro-social abilities.
Keywords: Adolescence, bullying, health promotion, peer group infl uence, prevention, risk behaviour.
