Due also to the financial crisis, forms of collective management of a wide range of public or private goods are re-emerging throughout the West. We are attending a revival of the category of "common good", that had been declining since the beginnings of modernity. A "new ghost" is then haunting Europe, with the creation of collective subjectivities who claim to look after their own territories, like in the case of the Mondeggi community Farm, in the Florence countryside, described in this paper.
