Trough the descriptions of two clinical cases, a tunisian girl and a senegalese boy, treated by a psychoanalyst and two psychodynamically oriented psychiatrists, the authors want to highlight the difficulties generated by the migration process, of composing in a coherent unit, cultural affiliation, original traditions and religious beliefs, with Western cultural values.

Keywords: Islam, subjection, cultural change, migration, psychotherapy.
