The author outlines the widespread exploration of identity engaged in by women participating in women’s consciousness-raising sessions from the 1960s and 1970s to the present day. She describes the political practice developed by feminists and proposed by them as an alternative to the existing, male, practice. Communication between women and men can change the paradigm of the worker and of work itself, and the society that derives from it. Feminism towards acceptance of limits as a measure of the self in dealings with others.
