In accordance with Regional Law 15/2016 and the 2016 Guidelines, the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders has been assigned to the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Units (UONPIA) within the Lombardy Region. To ade-quately address the diverse needs of patients, UONPIA is organized into various facilities, including Therapeutic Communities. This study examines the incidence and characteristics of minors accommodated in these structures (from January 2023 to December 2023). The findings provide valuable insights into the reasons for the minors’ admission, their individ-ual characteristics, and the duration of their stay within these facilities. .
