In Italy, urban planning has played a marginal role in the planning of agricultural spaces so far. However, agriculture can contribute significantly to addressing some of the most pressing issues of our society. In this paper, the author proposes a comprehensive approach that aims to bring agriculture and urbanism closer together, through hybrid governance forms and planning tools.
