Training groups are formed, develop, and dissolve, following a cycle similar to the life cycle of families, as in therapy. In their recent experience as supervisors, the Authors observed a group in which, due to various circumstances, there were multiple new entries and exits, which inevitably impacted the group's structure, altering its dynamics and functioning. Letting go, welcoming, and transforming became the implicit developmental tasks the group had to confront. As supervisors, the Authors had to manage these changes in a manner similar to therapeutic situations with families, and for this reason, they proposed creative experiential activities to address these challenges. This brief reflection aims to share their experience as teaching clinicians and the insights gained from the practical activities they chose, which complemented those typically included in training, drawing from what we often implement in therapeutic settings.
Keywords: change, training, creativity, supervision, life cycle.
