The "Italian model" of industrial development is connected to the districts. In the last years, the increasing international competition and the economic crisis that has invested the global economy have represented some elements of discontinuity in comparison to the competitive performances of the preceding years. The study analyse the evolution of the industrial districts in his characteristic aspects through a statistical analysis that show the evolution along the time.
