For some years now, the planning debate has focused on the social housing finance, through the joint participation of private developers and cooperatives interacting with public sector partners. The paper discusses more recent attempts, at regional and municipal scale, where "inclusionary housing" mechanisms are provided, according to innovative international planning practices that intend to recapture land values and improve inclusive urban policies.
