FURNISH (Fast Urban Responses For New Inclusive Spaces & Habitat) is a project funded by EIT Urban Mobility, which aims to increase local digital manufacturing capacity and to promote the reclaim of public space, thanks to the use of mobile prototypes of urban furniture. These mobile elements, in addition to allowing the use of the city, serve to mitigate the overcrowding of pedestriansand cyclists in the urban public space, in order to reduce the contagion from Covid-19. The challenge is to increase local resilience during the Covid-19 crisis by enlarging safety in the use of urban public space.
