ICTs are being increasingly utilised in the healthcare sector to enhance service efficiency and patient care through digital medicine and connected healthcare tools. This research aimed to determine the perception of users and whether investing in digital healthcare services is worthwhile.
This research aimed to answer these and other questions with a questionnaire addressed to a large sample of potential users of a cardiovascular risk prevention service in ‘Connected Health’.
The research results can serve as a reference for those interested in developing business models for digital health services, whether in the private sector or within the National Health Service.
Additionally, they can be used to evaluate the political priorities outlined in the M6C1 of the PNRR for improving the healthcare system.
